About this training:

In this video, a man in his 30’s was in a terrible automobile accident and was rushed to the hospital. During the process of attempting to give the man a blood transfusion, the computer network was locked by ransomware, thus the doctor wasn’t able to perform his job and the patient dies.

Luckily it was all a dream by Michael, a worker at the hospital after seeing a suspicious email. We learn that had Michael really clicked on the email, the network would have been infected with ransomware.

This story was inspired by the Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center breach that occurred in February 2016 and left a hospital paralyzed and forced to pay the ransom in bitcoin.
